PAL Game

Hi,
I just purchased a PAL Game called :"Siren2". I have a NTSC PS2. Using a
Slide Card & Swap Magic 6.5 to use the Disk. It doesn't Play.
It Played once but that's all.
Have another PAL Game that plays fine.
Does anyone know what the problem may be ?
Is there a procedure to correct this, so I can Play this legally purchased Game on my System ? THANKS.

i heard this game is dvd9 so it would have a bigger toc then the swap disc so i would think that is why it will not play

the best thing to do is try it on a friends ps2 with a mod chip

Thanks for the response to my problem Snake2.
What is DVD9 & TOC mean ?

I was told that I needed to :

"download a PAL - NTSC conversion patch and add it to the gamefile".

Does anyone know how to do this ?? I'm (as you can see) new to all this.

It seems I'd have to Burn the Game onto a DVD disk first, right ?
I was directed to this Site there that Patch here on this site ? I suppose add this Patch to the Gamefile on the Burned DVD,right? THANKS.

toc is table of contet and dvd9 means the disc has 2 layers of data so it can hold twice as much data as a normal disc

as for the pal - ntsc conversion patch all that will do is correct the display

when the swap magic disc is loaded the toc is read by the ps2 and it will not be able to read past the point where the swap magics toc ends so if the game is dvd9 then it will not play because it has a bigger toc then the swap magic disc

try using this rip kit then burn it to dvd5 and it might work

as far as i know all swap magic discs are dvd5 so you will need to use the rip kit i posted then burn the game to a dvd-r disc then it should play
