Burning backup PSX games to work on PS2
 

Hi.

I want to know how to burn an ISO image of a PSX game to get it to work on my PS2.

Ive tried numerous times, but the PS2 just wont read it.
It says its a "Playstation 2 Disc" but never gets on to starting it.

None of this is pirated...if you wonder (the big warning at the beginning made me aware.)

Thanks in advance for any help, I cant play my oldies and its killing me!

Well, doesn't logic dictate to just burn the ISO with the software you made it with?

If you did that, then it could be a myriad of things, such as weak laser/poor media, non-compatible modchip/fw revision etc.

The best thing to do is to test to see if the original discs work fine. If they do, then it must be something related to the actual backup as opposed to the title you are attempting to load.

Try the orignals and post back the results...

also make sure you put your mod chip in ps1 mode
