I noticed the same thingie, it's somewhat strange...
When installing, there appears some popup counting from 1 to 42 without giving any comment on what and why it does that...
Afterwards it closes and setup continues...

Probably check for SICE or Ring3 Debugger...
Guess there are 42 checks o.O

IIRC the tool is a kind of special data decompressor. The file name is probably just ought to be funny. :rolleyes:

No you all maybe have the warezed reloaded version.

This tool is for stopping the starforce driver install.

I can assure you (believe it or not) that the DVD is bought, legally obtained in a local games shop.
What I did was creating an image (I don't think RLD releases .MDS images), mounting in Daemon and installing.
The setup started, this crappy popup appeared even tho it was NO warez version (...).

Either way, the SF drivers will not be installed unless you manually start the game, so to avoid this you simply copy over the crack before doing anything else. -> That's what I did
No SF drivers (you can additionally erase protection.dll & -.exe) and crack works fine.
Well, you could also make the crack half as big with a good PE Rebuilder / Realigner, dunno what RLD did :/
