Hey i'm new in here so Hello to everybody sorry about my english guys but i have a question anyone know where or how to make a good no cd for Metal Gear Solid for PC? i got one in the net but when i finish the game i can't save and this is very bad to me i don't want to get any saved game for another people i want get all godies by myself saving in the end of this game anyone can pleasee help me?

ohh yeah i think this is the no cd patch fault but if this was not the case please tell me why this keep happening

pleaseeee help me i already tried to do the no cd patch by myself using unsafedisc and nothing the game just don't ask to save in the end maybe this is not to do with the no cd thing?

maybe it's not a problem with the crack - i think it's a feature of the game... long time ago i've played the PSX version of the game and i think i could not save too....

btw - which graphics card r u using to play this game? with my old gpu the game runs fine in hardware mode - since i used my geforce 6800 GT i can't play in hardware mode - the game only runs in software mode.

Well that would be easy enough to work out! Does it happen when you dont use the 'no cd thing' (a NoCD Crack)?

You have to save the game by using your comms and talk to the chinese girl.

When you finish the game it's supposed to save automatically. Can't say for sure if the PC version bugs out on this, but I do know that if you play the PS1-version of MGS on a PS2, the game will hang and not save after the end credits. And I'm talking a legit version game in an un-chipped PS2. Big bummer.

Do you mean the first or the second game for pc??

well, i got both. and in both games you can save over codec!!! in the first game the person is called naomi hunter i guess and in the second she is calles mei ling!!

XdaywalkerX i think t's not a Graphic card or config problem i tried to change to software and hardware and all of then work normal

I tried some other people saves to test it and in otacon side when he is alive in the end the game let me save but in meryl side don't i think it's a bug of the game or the save have something wrong and like you said i waited in the meryl side and when everything end the game quick load to the game main menu with solid snake face but when is otacon side the game let me save and restart the game and show the konami logo

after u've finished the game u must have a option to save - i cause of u've rescued otacon u get the stealth suite - if u've rescued maryll u get the bandana.... just wait 4 the credits and start a new game and then make a new savegame :D

I already tried that and in the meryl side i can't get the bandana

and in the otacon side i can get the stealh but all i need to do is to save in the end of the game after the credits so the problem is the meryl side i really think this is too much bizarre hahahahha why only meryl's side?????? why only meryl's side don't ask to save in the end?

hey sorry for the trouble i already find the problem i think heheehe maybe my save is corrupted or something misterious and bizarre hehehehe some other guy in another forum send his saved games and in the the end of meryl's side the game ask to save the one thing i can think is that the one i used and give me problems snake aren't using the tuxedo and the one that the guys send and worked snake have the tuxedo well but this can't be the reason but thank you all
