F.E.A.R. - crack test report
I noticed that FEAR 1.04 Fixed EXE is signed as unworking / taken from trial. Although I do not know, where Unleashed took this crack from, if they made it themselves or actually taken from D2D patch - no matter. It works 100% on all languages (the difference between the langiage patches is not in FEAR.exe) and also works 100% on version 1.05. Please remove this misleading information.
BTW, I did not test FEAR 1.03 Fixed EXE, so I do not know if this is unworking or working. |
just scan the crack by unleashed with pid v5.1c and youŽll see it was ActiveMARK protected instead of securom ;)
and yep the crack was made with the d2d downloadable version with the latest patch for it. |
Well, but it DOES work. And leads to NO CRASHES. As soon as a 1.05 update for FEAR D2D is released, I'll upload the exe myself (after testing it, of course).

ActiveMark, easier to crack than SR7 ?
|
Who the f*** cares as long as the game works? I believe, as long as all roads lead to Rome, who the f*** says you have to take the most known road? Take the back alley if you think you'll get there faster.

active mark wrapped games donŽt contain any cd/dvd check like the rest of the ISO protections. the anti-debug is also simple and there are already lots of very good published tutorials about the latest v5.42 on the net... when cracking activemark you need to bypass anti-debug, let both layers decrypt themself, get to the oep, dump & fix iat, patch timer to force the game to run as long as you wish instead of 1 hour ;) |
Touchy subject that I think CD, I think people can download the game from Activemark sites then use that crack.
So they wouldnt have paid for it. I dunno, to me it might be a bit dodgy to discuss it. O_o |
Yeah, as far as I remember, a few threads got closed and a few people got banned for trying to make the crack for the CD/DVD version with the freely available "digital download" version...!
|
They probably stated the file was theirs, and they didn't change a single byte in it, making themselves just plain thieves... Am I right?
