problem installing patch for Matrix PON!!!
 

i'm stuck on 1.0 can't update to 1.1. keeps saying "can't locate the matrix path of neo (USA) retail on your computer".

worst thing is that it's in the same folder as it. i got this thing for $9 (bargin bin's own) so it's not a huge loss but still i waited 2 hours to dl the patch (dialup) for NOTHING!!!!!!. help!

Could be one of two things,
1. you still have the cracked exe in place, so the update cant find the original exe?
OR
2. You have downloaded the wrong language update patch?

nah i deleted it. i got the USA one. i'll try to reinstall the game

This error usually means that 1) the necessary registry entries, telling that the game has been installed and where it has been installed, are not present or 2) some of the key files, that the patch checks for in the installation directory, are not present or they have some unexpected size or contents.

You can check what registry entries and files the patch is accessing with FileMon and RegMon; see http://www.sysinternals.com for (legal ;)) free downloads.

This only means you dont have the USA Version ;)

Try the other EU Patch.

i already did. took me another 3 hours to dl but it installed. tho performance is the same
