FileForums - Gah, PoPt2T, I've tried everything!

I just CAN'T get this backup to work!
I've tried using SD4Hide, AntiBlaxx, StarFuck, Starforce Nightmare, I've tried disabling my IDE drives through the Device Manager, I've tried all of those combined, I've tried everything but unplugging the IDE drives - which I do not intend to just to be able to play a game.
What else can I do?
My original cd broke, and I'm using an image I backed up, I don't really know what developments have been made in this field since the game was released, since I've only just now tried using the backup.
It keeps saying "Insert the POP3 disc into another drive then press Retry", no matter what I do, no matter what program I use.
Are there any viable solutions to this problem that don't involve unplugging anything or doing anything that could be potentially risky to my OS?
