Battlefield update
 

Hello,

I just installed Battlefield 2. Now i'm trying to patch it to version 1.3.
I downloaded the 1.3 full version patch. The patching went ok en got the message that everything was ok.
Now when i start the game, in the right uppercorner it says 1.1.2878-710.
Why can't i upgrade to version 1.3?

(Wrong forum. Moved.) If you received no error message during the update, you can assume it had been applied properly. If the patch manual says nothing about it, see the official game support forum or contact the publisher for help.

That's the correct version number for the UpdatePatch V1.3 .
Also since the first update, the version numbers in the game aren't the same as the patch is.

Patch 1.1.2878-710. is a little hard to market..

Rollback, this patch runined the game.. wait for 1.31 or Roll to 1.22

In what way? How does it ruin the game?
I havent played BF2 since returning from my month long holiday so I havent installed any new patches as yet.
Also I presume all the servers are using the latest patch so rolling back wont leave any servers to play on?
As well as your comments I am interested in others comments on this subject.

Do not ask why, but when i install patch v1.03, will the game roll back to version v1.03 or do i have to do it in another way?

i instaled the 1.3 patch...and i have the "same" number on the right upper corner 1.1.2....

maybe the crack is doing that?

I think you will not be able to use an old update on a newer version. If you want to roll back to an old update, you have to reinstall the game.

@enjoy&relax:
Do you play the game only in SinglePlayer-Mode? Or is it possible to play on ranked server with this crack?

@Grumpy:
Some players cry about the chanings in the game. I think the game is better as before. OK, there are some bugs (crash to desktop), but for me only once in 20 games. And yes, you're right. Ranked servers updated to V1.3 .
