"The Sims 2 v1.0 [MULTI] No-DVD/Fixed EXE" not workin
 

This is suppousedly a fully working exe, bue i get "Insert the correct CD" error. Yes i have the CD multi 15 version of the game.
Any suggestions?

working cd != no-cd... read the faq

I don't know what you meant with that, i have the cds (multi15 version) and i can even use those fixed exes that have no building, but when i try to use this one it shows and error with an image in the background with the word "Money"

None of the nocd exe's work for the original The Sims 2 (they all have a broken Build Mode in the game). Try running the game with your original cds or read the FAQ for how to make your own mini image to use with DAEMON Tools.

Using the search button isn't so bad either.

what i meant was that a fixed exe is not necessarially a no-cd exe, so it may require you to put a cd in the drive or mount an image etc etc... as stated in the faq... the sims is notorious though for having hidden checks and 'weird' things in the exe.. so it could also be a bad crack

PD: I installed Open for Business and Family Fun Stuff, used the exes in the site and the build mode works; the stair construction is a little weird though. Just letting you know

does the "The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff v1.0 (v1.4.0.74) [MULTI] No-CD/Fixed EXE" work for the latest version "v1.4.0.98 Patch"? No right? so does this "The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff [US] No-CD/Fixed Image" work for the latest version? I tried but it can't work, do i have to restore the original .exe (cos now i am using the patched .exe)? can someone send me the origianl Sims2SP1.exe cos i didnt backup....thanks.
