Problems with multiplexing to SFD
I got a problem with sfd files.
What I wanna do is to de-mux a sfd file into its audio and video files, change the audio and leave the video unchanged. Then make a new sfd file with the new audio and the untouched video. I de-mux the sfd with "cube media player 2" and i have several options in deciding what kind of output I want, so i just choose an MPG and the WAV. Then I alter the wav file and i wont change the sample rate or the bitrate. Now I've got both my video and my new audio file. For multiplexing these two, I use "Sega Dreamcast Movie Creator" with it's multiplexer version of 1.07. The output I get from it, is an SFD file with strange audio specifications : Frequecy: 469963268 Channels: 1 (thou i had a stereo file for MUXing) Rate: 939926536 !! and it wont be played it cube media player any more, with an error saying "Create Buffer Failed". What have i done wrong? I would appretiate any help |
!!!
I use Mpeg-Vcr to demultiplex my *.sfd , When you demultiplex it with this program it extract it to a *.m1v and an audio file with the bad extension, you must change it to *.sfa .
Then I downsample my video with Mpeg encoder from panasonic. Then if I want to downsample my audio I get myself a winamp plugin named in_cube.dll ( http://c9.servage.net/~sc19031-ZCPG/in_cube.html ) Then you open your song with winamp, an choose preference then output and you choose the out_disc.dll and configured it Now play the song, it gonna be converted to a wav. Now it's a wav file Sega movie creator can't multiplex a video file with a mp3,wma,or a file with the wrong extension. so if your file was a sfa or adx ( same thing for sfa or adx) and that the filename was wav because of the demultiplexer, then SEGA MC was all f*cked up !! You MUST put a sfa\adx file with the sfa\adx extension OR a plain WAV file but a REAL one, not only the *.wav Extension... I hope it'll be of use !! -=FamilyGuy=- |
thnx, that worked, but it still has that strange sample rate and the rest, but as i burnt it, i found out that it works fine with the station and it's probably Cube Media's case that it cant find out the right specifications. anyways, thnx for the reply.
