COD 2 v1.2 problem
 

Ok so heres my problem...I updated my COD 2 to v1.2...I went to gamecopyworld and Dl'd the v1.2 patch or whatever you wanna call it. I then took the .exe and replaced it with the old one. Now....I try to play multiplayer and its telling me I got a version mismatch...Whats wrong? Could I have DL'd a bad update v1.2 update? Also, my single player doesnt work either.

try to reinstall, it seems Cod2 deviance 1.2 patch does only work on english version. If you use it on another langue you get mismatch error when starting multiplayer game.

I am using an english version. So should I still reinstall?

You have overwritten the cracked exe with the old one ??????????????????

no, im sorry I mistyped. What I did was replaced the originally cracked.exe with the new cracked.exe that i got from gamecopyworld.

then try to reinstall and update the clean install. Make a backup of your savegames.
