Xbox Hotswap
 

Ok, I got a xbox with this kernel : 1.00.5838.01 and this dashboard : 1.00.5960.01

Can I do hotswap on this console even if I got a recent Kernel ???

I want to know how do i can soft-mod it ( hotswap or 007 saved games)

I also want to know where do i can find the most recent files for this.

You can softmod any version of the xbox. Remember that hotswaps are risky though... as for "obtaining files" check around at www.xbox-scene.com (please don't ban me... ;))

also the clock update will kill it, so i say go for a mod

Using any newer softmod won't create any problems as all newer versions of softmods are much better than older ones. Most new ones are even safe for dashboard updates.

Krayzies softmod installer is great too IMO. Easy to use and works great, it has never failed me. It also contains boot options to boot without softmodded files for live play with your original discs.
