Okay how about a point in the right direction then.
Thanxs again |
You can use the information "InsertCdTitle" to search for this string with W32dasm V8.9 to find out what offset you need to manipulate.
You need to read some cracking tutorials. I don't have that much knowledge in cracking files.... |
Okay , i will try that then. That will get me started .
Thanx again |
Well this didn't go well at all. Here is a update on what i did.
Ran win32dasm found my error line (00001b69) the used hiew and went to that line and noped it out and now i get this after i save it. this file isnt a valid win32bit applicication. This app is like from 1999 and i still can't fix it, i really don't want to have to use 7 disc all the time. I have found it uses a autoexec.exe , and a cdpath.dll. I scanned the exe it doesn't have protection , but the autoexec.exe does. And the exe calls on the cdpath.dll. Someone has to know what this is or how to fix it thanx. |
Read some cracking tutorials, thats prolly the best way to go.
|
Yes i have been reading them, just needed a bit more help.
It seems this forum maybe isn't the right one though. so i shall try elsewhere. |
