Trying to backup Brothers in Arms
 

Hi All,

Trying to back up Brothers in Arms using Alcohol 120% with the method described in Gamecopyworld however when I put the dvd in, the options pertaining to the type of copyprotection disappears, as does my option to write with any method other than DVD-DAO, (ie no RAW method). I have tried putting other dvd's in but same result. When the DVD is ejected, then alcohol gives me all the options. :S
This happens on both my burners (Sony DRU 510A and Pioneer DVR-110)
I am also open to using something other than alcohol if there is a better product.

Any help would be appreciated.

DVD's cannot be written in RAW mode, that's why; and, for this reason, no other software will help you either. Try making a plain backup (Nero: Burning ROM, Alcohol 120%, Blindwrite, whatever) and use a fixed EXE with the backup or a no-DVD patch without any DVD.
