Backing Up Pso v.2 EU Help
 

Sorry if this is against the forum rules:
I'm having trouble getting the backup to boot or be workable in the dc emu chanka, I backed up the game up using my bba and which gave me a large iso which I extracted to a folder and made a iso of using mkisofs (after downsampling the movies) , after that I used bin2boot to create a self-boot cdi. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and possibly have a guide to make this game workable. (right now it returns back to the dreamcast start game screen after showing the sega screen). If you need amy more info about the game or files to help me just ask.

This game is heavily protected. I've ripped it myself and was never able to make a working backup copy.

You just had to go amd mention warez didn't you...

My bad I actually have my own disc backup so i'm not doing any harm by thinking out loud, But you seem to know somthing about alot of this where i'm kinda new to the whole dc thing, I just have one more question though, it's been my experence with other pso versions that there is a main exe type file:

Psov3.dol (or somthing like that) for the gc
and a similar xbe in the type file in the xbox

Now it's my understanding that bin files are the exe type for the dc (correct me if i'm being too simplistic) anyway where is the main exe for the dc version of pso, i've yet to find a file on my back up that even looks like it could be it.
