Taito Legends 2 No-CD crack?
 

Purchased the game off eBay and was dismayed to discover that they went from SafeDisc to StarForce this time! :(

Version 3.17.13.00 detected. Any hope at all for this lil' tyke?

Pretty improbable to find a working NoCD, as long as it isn't SF Pro, there is a slight chance that it will be done in 2 years or so :P (see SC3 Chaos Theory)

Taito Legends 1 used standard safedisc 4, so i think they´ve used starforce basic.

I'm just hoping the particular Starforce on this disc won't seriously bugger my system to death at some point! Haven't read all the stories about it and all.

Haven't seen any side-effects so far, although I haven't tried to run the game yet. Do you think doing so could end up installing more SF junk?

sf v3.7 frontline installs 3 to 4 sys files in your c:\windows\system32\drivers
before you can run the game.

Would be great for a retro-freak like me if Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe (SF 3.6.10.007) was similarly defeated in this fashion!

Just tried the no-cd by Reloaded, but it didn't work for me. :( I did everything that was in the NFO. Extract the contents of the crack directory to the game directory, overwriting the existing files. But all that did was show me the Taito Legends 2 logo, and put me back to the desktop with a 'Send Error Message'?

Is this the same for other people, or has it worked fine for them?

Try without a crack, read the FAQ.
