Can't use no-cd thing because missing dll (common.dll)
 

I have legally bought this game a long time ago, it is an older game still played by many, I would like a backup for this game, because the cd is getting quite full of scratches.

I downloaded a no-cd thing from this site, this games name is Freelancer.

After downloading and extracting with winRAR the exe appeared on my desktop, where it was suposed to be. The site says to use this exe instead of the games regular execution, however when run, the a message pops up saying:

"The application has failed because common.dll was not found."

Where might I get this common.dll?

Make a backup with alcohol 120% stop the process at 25% choose cancel it wll ask you to delete the incomplete file choose no and conserve it mount it on the virtual drive should works since is safedisk 2.8 not really a problem and there is no crack for the patch 1.1

You have to copy the cracked exe to the game dir on your hd. The desktop is the wrong place for it.
