Black NTSC on Pal HD Fix
 

Is there a fix to make the NTSC version of Black run directly from a Pal Hard Drive??

I don't understand. What is your problem? What exactly happens when you try to play it?

The loading screen appears then the screen goes black. The game freezes

Try switching to NTSC mode with Enigmah Video Mode switch disc (at your own risk of course) or take the game back to the store and change it for a PAL version.

Did you use the newest version of dvd2xbox (7.4) to copy it from the disk? The ntsc version of the game does not require any special fixes, although, you may need to change the xbox's video mode to ntsc to get a proper picture.
