Dvd Decrypter I/O Error on King Kong
I/O Error!
Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8163B 0D20 (D:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 28 00 00 14 2B E0 00 00 01 00 Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 1321952 Sense Area: F0 00 03 00 14 2B E0 0A 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error This is what I get everytime I try and rip King Kong onto my hdd to put onto my ipod. I'm not sure what this means which is why i'm posting it, in hopes someone may know. The process goes great until the it gets to about 31% and then it slows down and stops and then the error here comes up and that is the end of everything. Thanks for any help in advance. The dvd is brand new and doesn't have on scratch on it. I have played it through my dvd player also and it plays flawlessly so it's not scratched or messed up. |
If I understand it correctly, DVDDecrypter can only cope with CSS encryption but not with new tricks like intentional bad sectors. Try Slysoft AnyDVD instead which makes the decoding about three times slower than DVDDecrypter - according to my experience - but handles such problems. Good luck!

Anydvd does not work on King Kong
I have both programs and Anydvd does not work for this movie. I have v5.9.4.1. Are there any other programs out there that are good at ripping dvd's to the hdd and getting past copy protections. Thanks

Update AnyDVD to V5.9.5.3. This versin has worked for me with DVD KingKong.
