Anybody have Verizon Fios?
 

Just curious if any forum members have the new Verizon fiber optic internet serice, Fios. Getting mine installed next week and can't wait. 15mb/s glory.:cool:

i never heard of this thing till now..

My download speed is 24 Megabits per second but unfortunately my up speed is only 1 Megabit. Thats the type of account I have anyway. So you could say I have the good and the bad.
I must add tho I dont actually get the full 24Mb as my phone lines in the street are a bit faulty. ;(
I will be moving house soon, and I will be closer to the phone exchange and will also be in a newer developed area so the phone lines will be in good condition, so I 'should' be able to utilize the full speeds. ;)

LOL! I wish. 15 down, 2 up. Only $45 a month. They also offer 5/2 for $35 and 30/5 for $180.

I get 10/2 for £35 ($50'ish?) here in UK, but they are planning to use new docsis systems in time for 2008 for 50mb lines.

Got hooked up today. 15 mb/s is like heaven. :cool:
