empire at war+ winrar problem
 

Hello gaming world........4 starters......THANK YOU for all the good work-game copy world rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying 2 backup empire at war, not the first game i backed up...but...4 some reason winrar will only replace the first .exe not the "perception function" or the gamelaunch.exe......instructions from GAME COPY WORLD WERE FOLLOWED 2 THE LETTER...and i must say very simple...but no results........... I have>>installed full game\applyed ver1.02 patch as instructed/ extracted eaw.exe 2 install directory>>worked fine<< TRIED 2 EXTRACT THE OTHER 2 FILES(PERCEPTION.DLL) AND (LAUNCHEAW.EXE) BUT WINRAR JUST BEEPS AND DOES NOT REPLACE THE FILE.....i must b doing somthing wrong.....a 'lil help please..........and thanks again>>ALL<<
1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.
3. Install the game.
4. Run update. If patch doesnt want to start from the crack dir, copy it to
your hdd and start from there
5. Copy over the cracked files to your install dir.
6. Play the game.

munster.........b4 u give the standard "go buy the game" response 2 posts.......PLEASE READ THE POST!!!!!!!!!!!!! i HAVE THE GAME-I HAVE INSTALLED IT-I HAVE A NICE SHINY NEW CASE-AND THE SERIAL KEY THAT CAME WITH IT AND NO U CAN'T HAVE IT...ITS 20$ AT FUTRE SHOP IN CANADA.....HEHE.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO>> NOT REALLY SURE WHAT U MEAN.......PLEASE RESPOND:mad:

I would not replace those files without making a back up of them first. I rename all files that I am going to replace. For instance I rename them to LAUNCHEAW.EXE.OLD first and then put the new files in that same directory. It might not be letting you replace the files as they may be in use somehow. If you try to rename the files and they are in use it will let you know. Just an idea. Don't know why they would be in use if the game is not running but who knows. Also maybe try to extract them to a diff folder and then copy over from there.

hey thanx big country......got past the winrar prob....now i copy the files 2 the directory and it still asks 4 the disc........ARGGGGGGGGGGG:mad:
and it is the tnt no cd fixed exe so u know its good

You would want to think twice before flaming long term members!!
And again there is no need to 'SHOUT'!

You have to remember, it was your first post here, you didnt mention you owned the original game, and you pasted the warez nfo into your thread!
That in itselfs makes people believe you have downloaded the game!

I only installed this game myself last night, for my kids, I used the same tnt cracks and it all works fine for them. So I would really make sure if those cracks have been placed in the correct location. ;)

Wasnt the TNT fixed exe just a crack for the launcher ?
It was a simple CDCheck, no Securom or anything hard to crack like it
You'll need the 'real' fixed exe of Reloaded in order to play the game

He did say he was trying to back-up Empire at War. And also if you don't have a constructive answer (munsterbuster) then don't answer. Just my opinion.
