@Whos_Ur_Paddy?
G'day mate. ;)

I have the same x800xt display card and use the same 6.3 ati drivers and the game works fine for me.
Could it be something to do with either the resolution or the refresh rates? Are you trying to play the game in to high of a resolution for your monitor maybe?

use a program to force the refresh rate to one that will work with your hardware...

have a sift through there and you'll definately find something

I dont mean to be rude and stuff, but shouldnt this be in the general section? And shouldnt the Joe Answer of "Contact publishers" be here also :P

Joe Forster/STA 27-03-2006 11:22

Upon public request: contact the publisher and use the proper forum. :D (Moved.)

hello,
I got the same problem (no video just audio) with a nvidia 6800 ultra.
After many test I find out an entry of the game in my system registry that set the default resolution of the game to 1280x1024 @ xx Htz that my monitor doesn't support. Try to change that set to a lower res. could be work to you also.

here's the line:

[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1123561945-57989841-839522115-1003\Software\Electronic Arts\The Godfather The Game\VideoSettings]
"SizeX"="1024"
"SizeY"="768"
"Maximized"="false"
"Minimized"="true"
"PosX"="0"
"PosY"="0"

Good luck!:D
