Having A Issue With FIFA 06
 

Here is the problem. I install the game fine from my backed up copy. I also apply the patch and the cracked .exe. The game starts up I can go through the options and all the other menu features. But when I try to play the game it takes me to the loading screen and then it disappears and takes me back to my desytop. I tried searching the forums to soo if this is happening to anyone else, But any help would be much apricated.

Try without a crack, with the original. If it still crashes, contact the publisher. (Have you read the FAQ?)

I have exactly the same problem. If I use the original dvd it works fine, but after using the crack it crashes everytime i start a game...:mad:

Well I found out my issue! What happens is if I use my Logitech controller the game will only go to the loading screen and then crash! The latest patch from EA corrects this issue but if you use FIFA 06 v1.1 [ENGLISH] No-DVD Patch, FIFA 06 v1.1 [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed EXE, FIFA 06 v1.1 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE it still wont work. Anybody had success with using a controller?

FIFA 06 doesnt support USB Controller device driver which is old than the game, you must update your driver controller. i'm using ps/2 keyboard and mouse to play the game. Detail on FIFA 06 Readme.txt ...

I am experiencing the same problem using the Hama game controller Air Grip. First of all, I do not have problems when using it together with the original disc, but only when using the fixed exe from GCW (no matter which of them). I have downloaded the newest driver for my controller and also the patch from EA Sports for it. The problem remains. The game crashes when loading the actual gaming part (after specifying teams, controllers etc.). If I am using the keyboard, everything works fine. When I configure the keyboard to be used, start the gaming successfully and within that reconfigure the control, so that my game controller should be used, it also crashes.

Does anybody know a workaround ? Or will the exe from GCW be patched in the near future ?

Try using the mini image with original patched exe instead of crack. All the cracked .exe that were created will not work. The only way it works is install the game, patch the original .exe(do not use any crack .exe at all) download the FIFA 06 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed Image #1 from GCW and mount with Daemon Tools v3.47(or a later version). Another window explorer will open just go find the original .exe and double click it and thats all game should work fine.

i don't quite understand the instructions???? could you please be more specific.
By patching original EXE do you mean with fifa's official patch or just with the no cd crack #1?

As discussed above, the cracks don't work properly; use the original EXE from the official 1.1 update plus the mounted mini image.

OK so i CAN patch the game withe EA's official patch first and then use the mini image file #1

I thouht the mini image was only god for the original EXE from EA?

can someone fix the NO DVD for v1.1 cos find out got error on the network ...it failed to get in network play in LAN..thanks you...pls fixed it ASAP..my cyber cafe can't link play with the NO DVD ...

sure yes...all got license...just i don't want to use daemon tool or any software to spoil my cds

If you have the correct licenses for the game to be installed onto 40 PC's then contact the publisher and ask them how you are meant to achieve running one game on so many machines at the same time!
