error in godfather setup!!
 

when I try to install godfather it say that I must update my directx to 9.0c BUT I already have it!
I click autorun, insert the serial and then it stop and abort setup bacause say to update my directx to 9.0c
I have 9.0c and if I try to install it from directx directory directx setup say that all is ok but setup abort every time.

set the Windows 2000 compability mode for those files:
Autorun.exe and GDFTHR_inst.exe

When installing, is it normall when the setup ends at 45%, because i cant get my game to run, it just has a black screen. and i reinstalled it twice, and the setup ends at 45%?

Read the FAQ; download DirectX from Micro$oft directly and install that instead; contact the publisher.

Hi, look for resolve your problem you must open Autorun.cfg (In the Autorun folder) and find the line "DirectXVersion=9.0c" change 9.0c to 0.
Now install and play the game;)

edit an image file
 

ok but... how can I save the changes in the image file? can someone help me with that?

Open the image file with a hexa editor (see the end of the FAQ), search for that "DirectXVersion=9.0c" string and change "9.0c" to "0 " (yes, pad it with three spaces!). That should work, I guess... Good luck!

I would recommend using ultraiso to edit the cfg file and install as normal:)
