MOHPA Crack doesn't work
 

Hello I'm having problems with the v1.2 NO-CD for MEDAL OF HONOR: PACIFIC ASSAULT. I clicked on the Related FileForums Posts link for this game and noticed that the THREAD that deals with this problem is CLOSED so I figured I set up a new THREAD. The game loads the first level but as soon as I FIRE the mounted machine gun that on the boat that I'm on the GAME crashes. I did what was suggested before I put in the CRACK I Restarted the PC and put in the crack(after I made a copy of the patched v1.2 exe and put in a FOLDER just in case as usual per to instructions suggested here and other sites) and it still crashes. I'm going to try the No-CD/Fixed Image but It will probably work but I always like the CRACKED exe. And if anybodys pondering I bought the GAME so it isn't pirated.

Tried the IMAGE and it works no crashing. But I'm still wondering why it crashes with the CRACK?

just looked in the GCW crack files and i cant see a v1.2 nocd crack.

have you tried the v1.1 crack which is used with the official MOHPA 1.1 update ?

if there isnt a v1.2 crack then it aint gonna work !

I just tried the v1.1 crack and it WORKS and as for the v1.2 crack I found it at another site crack site that I BK.

Hope you got a high spec pc, quite a graphics intensive game as you probably know !

Ive got a geForce 6800 LE card which is the lower end of the 6800 range and it plays it pretty well on the highest settings tho does struggle occasionally when theres lots of action on screen at once. might need some memory in my machine, only running 768mb DDR400 , may need a gig at least and things will run smoother.

So just put use the v1.1 no cd crack and it'll work?

thanks i did it and it works!

using the 1.1 crack on a 1.2 update is pretty silly.. chances are the exe is also updated with the update, so while you may (possibly) have updated the datafiles with some adjusments the 1.2 made, you've now downgraded the game to (effectively) version 1.1, and may run into unknown bugs / problems due to the mismatch you've caused..

all in all.. a VERY bad idea

... and documented in the FAQ, too. ;)

I'll point out two things: the mini-image works with patch 1.2 and there is a Deviance crack for v1.2

Not unless the changes are all fixes are for MP, and according to the nfo that came with the Deviance crack that's what the 1.2 patch is. Here what it says:

I might be wrong though and even besides I tend to play the SP part and not the MP part in the games that I buy.
