How do I copy-protect a backup?
Can someone tell me how to protect a backup (copied CD) to prevent someone else from making copies from that same CD? Don't know where to look or what to try.
Thanks, BMF |
Not to sound mean.. but if you could make a backup of the original what makes you think you're going to be able to protect the backup? If the industry can't make a solid protection what makes you think a third party group could make one good enough to do the job? Not to say there isn't one.. but just think about that for a minute..

Maybe he wants to protect it from someone who is dumber than him?
Anyways, search for Krypton 0.5. Its a freeware protector with a feature to protect CD's. Very nice and original ideas are wrapped up in that protector. I like it a lot. |
"someone who is dumber than him" haha are you putting him down or coming to his defense.. yea ok i hear you.. like i mentioned it was possible.. but I guess I don't sell people short when it comes to intellect.. even though I should at times..
