splinter cell chaos theory problem

hi,

I have a problem making scct work.

I installed the game successfully and enterd the activatin code too.

then it prompt an error saying "insert the splinter cell chaos theory pc dvd into another drive then press retry"

I used dtools v.4.0.3he and mounted the mds image I've downloaded.

does anyone have a solution for this problem ?

any usefull posts will be appreciated.

ps:

I don't want any unpluging solutions.

I used sfclean to delete starforce driver installed by the game.

I used this method with pop3 and toca 3 and it worked perfectly, so I think it should work with scct but it didn't.

This game is more heavily protected than most other Starforce-protected games. SEARCH on the forum; there are many threads about this game already! (Also, the FAQ contains a lot of general solutions...)

Correct me if I am wrong but I didnt think there was a mini/maxi image available for SCCT??
Or have you downloaded the full game?

You can dload mds files at copybase.ch if you havent been able to create a good DPM yourself... you already know that, dont you ?
So probably he created a normal 'huge' image of his DVD and got the mds in order to get it to work...
Guess thats what he meant...

Once again I see this fixation on images, I have already stated that I have successfully copied mine onto a DVD+RW which works great.

They are very cheap to replace, no hassle popping it into the USB connected drive.

Far better than running all this garbage and unplugging/disabling drives.
