American McGee's Alice problem...

Gee, I've learned next time I buy a game, Google it for "I have a problem" threads first.

Game starts and then posts error message:

"Please insert the correct CD then restart the application.

I'm loaded for bear with a top of the line computer.

Others have posted the same problem and EA should be taken out and beaten with a rancid raccon leg for not answering customer emails etc. regarding the problem.

Anything work? Yes, it's a legal copy and I've already registered it.

Thanks :)

Are you sure you dont mean American's McGees Scrapland?
Its just that American McGees Alice is, what about 5 years old now?

Next time you buy a game, don't buy it before you visit 1) this forum (for copy protection- and crack-related problems and cracks) and 2) the official game support forum, and you'll spare a lot of annoyance for yourself. ;)

As for your question, whichever game you're thinking of, there's a crack for both of them. See the appropriate forum sticky for a list of sites carrying cracks. Happy gaming!

Ja, I found a cure on another website. Apparently many people had problems with this game. Why games are issued and the problems not easily resolved is beyond me. Makes me wary of any more EA games for the PC.

Yes the game is older but it's still very, very creative. Sorry to see there aren't alot of modding for it.
