FileForums - Translation Patch Help

Okay, I have just recently downloaded a ROM of Star Fox 2 and an emulator (the latest version of Snes9X) to run it on. I have also downloaded a translation/debug patch (from this page) in order to translate the text from Japanese to English and eleminate some of the bugs in the game, such as Corneria not taking damage from enemy missiles (which obviously hints at the ROMs out there are just demo versions of some sort). I am, obviously, an avid Star Fox fan, but also (and probably more of) a die hard Zelda fan. If you visit the Zelda Universe forums, then you would know me as Master of ALttP. Just thought some of you may want to know that so that you would not immediately classify me as a n00b of any sort. Anyways, if somebody could help me out with how to use the patch on the emulator then that'd be great, and perhaps helping me solve any problems that may result from using the patch with this ROM or emulator. Oh, and before any mods (I call them "local moffs", which is what Imperial governors in charge of a star system are called in Star Wars) go off on me about this being against any rules, I will let you know that I did try to get ahold of one of you via PM in order to check if this was against the rules, but none of the local moffs were online. So, if any of you could help me out with this, then I would greatly appreciate it.
