Modem for ps2
 

I was wondering can I buy a usb modem for a pc and use it on my ps2. Without the harddrive?

actually as far as i understand that is not entirely true. if you go to ####://www.neversoft.com it says that there is 4 usb modems that are available to be used on tony hawk ps3 that work on the ps2, now sony will have there network adapter out sometime and that also will work, and also as far as what i read, it said that there is a way to hook up to cable and dsl to play online.

someone correct me if im wrong

This is news to me. it is my understanding that sonys network adapter, hd were essentials in order for online gaming to work for PS2.:)

woodmaster, i am going to call some computer stores today and see what they cost, im in canada so that wont help u much, but ill let u know what i find
