How cam I play the game without a CD/DVD???

Use the mini image on GCW.

the game has not run with this image.
what must I do when I would that the game runs?

Read the FAQ on how to make images work. Also, use the SEARCH button for other, X3-related threads.

the mini image from gcw is only a mds file with korrekt dpm info - that's all - replace this file with the one from ur backup which is created with alcohol - mount image with dt 4.03 and disconnect all optical ide drives (depending of ur ide controller/ motherboard chipset) and play the game - or simply use ur original dvd - i think this is much easier :D

I've just updated the FAQ (entry V/2.) on how to add the missing MDF file to an MDS-only mini image. I hope it helps!
