Alcohol 120% Help!!!
 

Okay, I have the full verison bought from their website directly... I am trying to make backup copies of my play discs as I have a Kid, Pet and everything not safe for DVDs/CDs household.... Here is my problem....

Alcohol has these pre-saved profiles for burning and making Image Files... When there is no CD/DVD in the Writer (I use the DVDRW to read disc images as suggested for making back ups for the games I have) I can access these profiles fine... The moment there is a Disc in the drive the option disappears and the screen changes to a minimum controls one... Is this a weakness in my Drive???... I can not believe it is an problem with Alcohol itself...

If this is a Drive problem could someone add the link to the Good DVD Burner thread on here in the reply.... I rather buy a new drive and be able to burn working back ups then have to rebuy my games or download Torrents that are likely to be viruses.

Games I want a Playable Back Up for are:

WarLords BattleCry 3
BloodRayne 1 (CD VERSION - Wouldn't mind getting a Working DVD Convert out of this)
BloodRayne 2 (DVD Version - Got it on a business trip in Asia so might have to play with it more then the US version to get it to work)
NeverWinter Nights Diamond Edition DVD
Planescape Torment (CD - Again would love to have a Playable DVD convert)

As you can see replacing these would cost me more then any decent DVDRW Drive

Any help or Ideas ???
