Escape From Monkey Island No-CD?

I'm having a bit of problem getting any of the cracks to work with EFMI. I do get the game to run sometimes, but without music or speech. I even tried the "proper" crack by skull. Didn't work. The game runs fine from original discs and also if I make ISO's and run them with Daemon Tools. I would really like to find out how any of the cracks should be applied. Tnx

Use SCUMM or SCUMMVM not sure how was it was called, it's an emulator specially for lucas arts games, everything will work fine with it

Nah Luciel. I am a proud owner of many original LucasArts & LucasFilm games. I've used ScummVM since it's release. EFMI isn't supported and will probably never be since it's not built on SCUMM-interpreter. It uses the same engine as Grim Fandango.

Why didnt you read the NFO? You have to copy some Files from the CDs to your drive in order to hear speech and music.

EFMI is one of the games which does not use the cd only for copy verification.

I did read the NFO. And it doesn't work.

Drop me a PM and I'll gladly send you the files that work as I'm playing it again just right about today :)

Same here, installed the game again and made a NoCD myself. I made my NoCD for the v1.1 patch as it fixed some bugs in the original.

I'll send it to GCW then anyone can try it :)

ah sorry, i didnt realise that's the latest one, was thinking the first or second one.

ScummVM already support non-SCUMM games, as well. Support for all Lucasarts and other games of the same style is only a matter of time, I think. :)
