Problem loading xbe's located in subdirectories
Hi
I have a v1.0 Xbox with a Alladin Advance modchip (1.2 bios, I think, as it no longer shows on evox) and it won't load any xbe's bellow root level, therefore I cannot use emulators, xbmp or any other stuff located in sub-folders. I also can't boot games that are launched via a boot-menu or games that have multiple language choices (diferent xbe's on a sub-folder, called by the xbe on the root of the dvd), like half-life 2 or Doom3 (can't access the mini-games). It all goes well with my originals though. This started when a friend accidentally updated my x-box with Live   . I then formated the damn thing and installed several versions of evox with no success in resolving the problem. I pretty much gave up on trying to play emulators, xbmp or using disk management (all of wich I could use before the Live update). Any help would be welcome :D Naels |
Well, if you had backed up your saves before formatting, then you should delete them from the non working apps. I would delete one save and test the app, just in case it is not the issue, there is no point deleting them all.
I'm not sure on how I can help you with this issue. It is not a chip issue, and unless you didn't format all partitions, then I don't think it is an HDD issue either. |
