i am getting ill! i have an teac cd-w512e ide!
 

hey can somebody help me?? i can not burn with discjuggler the games simply dont boot! nothing happens! i am actually thinking about buying a new one! can somebody tell me a burner that definately can copy cdi images with discjuggler properly?? or help me how to do it with my teac???

Just got my w512e and was having the same damn problem. Sucked because it was a great cd burner otherwise. Anyway, I eventually got it to work with DiscJuggler.

It looks like DJ has a flawed config for this drive, check out
<DJ Dir>\pfc.inf. Under the heading [MMC TEAC CD-W512E],
FlagsMMC was set to 0000004Fh, which means our drive cannot write in RAW DAO... wtf, of course it can...

So, change
FlagsMMC was set to 0000004Fh
to
FlagsMMC was set to 0000000Fh
and you should be set. I'm burning happily at 8x now (and will try higher tonight!).
