seeking civ 3 complete no-cd

hi, i'm trying to find a no-cd for civilization III complete before my 9 y.o. son trashes the copy protected cd i bought him for christmas! i'm new to this but i've looked on the sites listed on the fileforum sticky but can't seem to find anything that is specifically for civ III complete.

any help in finding the right no-cd would be much appreciated.

i tried asking atari australia for a patch but the customer service email address on their web site bounces.... says it all i guess :(

Are you talking about this: http://m1010.gamecopyworld.com/games...zation_3.shtml . (Go to the main page of any GCW mirror, find "Game Index" on the right menu, select the appropriate letter interval and then search for the game name on the next page.)

He may mean Civ4 instead of Civ3

I mean Civ3 is like costs buttons, not really a great xmas pressy :P

He wrote it twice and, with Roman numbers, it's pretty hard to mix up III and IV anyway. ;) (Also, don't complain about it being a present, many oldies are goldies! :D)

Civilization III: Complete - http://www.civ3.com/features.cfm

Contains Civilization III plus the Play the World and Conquests! expansion packs. Probably all patched to the latest version too.

Only way to find out if the Civ III cracks work with this is try them.

@paulamar: Well, next time you'd better be using correct capitalization and punctuation (after all, you're supposed to be a native English speaker!) so that we can make difference between "civilization III complete" and "Civilization III: Complete".

thanks for the replies. yes it is Civilization III :Complete i was talking about. sorry if the lack of capitalisations was confusing, i find it faster to type without caps.... lazy i know but i'll try and be more careful in situations where it might cause confusion (i thought netiquette deemed caps normally unnecessary). i had looked on GCW but there isn't any no-cd.exe file for Civilization III :Complete, only for Conquest and PTW.
i was hoping to be able to learn from someone elses experience and not have to slog through trying out a bunch on files that may or may not work.
regards paul

Just make a mini image out of your original disc. If I remember correctly, Civ3 has Safedisc 2.9, and some expansion has Safedisc 3. Mini images can be made for both version of safedisc.
