The Matrix : Path of Neo - CPU is at 99%, Game Doesnt Start
:confused: Has anyone come across a solution for this problem? I heard it may be an issue with the Securom protection trying to get on the internet, but disconnecting my cable and disabling my network connections didnt solve it. Any suggestions?:confused:
Thanks |
Try using the NOCD crack.

I don't see how a crack would fix a game that doesn't work without the crack :confused:
|
@danthefly:
If SECUROM is really the problem, then a crack would help. But i don't think SECUROM is trying to get into internet. |
Also
I should note, in the task manager it's the Matrix3W32S.bin file that's taking up the 95 -> 99 percent of the cpu. No Launch. Anyone else have this problem?

Do This
Beleive me Fly, I had this same problem and its not from the game. See when u start The Path of Neo game, it uses a Bin file instead of a exe. And if your shortcut has problems or the bin file cannot start then the only way you can get past this is use an exe. Its a problem with the bin file/shortcut. Belive me, this happened to me. Just place the no-cd exe in ur directory (It wont overwrite anything since theres no exe in the folder, and just a bin file, plus u dont have to delete the bin file) Just place the no-cd exe in there, then click on it and click copy. Then go back to ur desktop and click "paste shortcut". So when u open the game it opens with the new exe. This is easier than having to rename your shortcut. Open the game with this new exe and i bet u itll work, since you wont be using the Bin file.

still no dice
I tried the no-cd/no-dvd like you suggested, no success, the process in the task manager is now "Matrix3W32S.exe" with the same problem, running tons of memory and stuck over 90% CPU usage, but no game, nothing at all. :confused: There must be some simple explanation, hmmm.
|
Hmm, thats strange worked for me. If you opened the exe file from the directory for the game, and it still doesnt work, Then Maybe you should try reinstalling the game. Maybe that will help

The bin file is a compressed protected exe.
The original exe file is a loader to load the bin file into memory then to be unpacked and run. The crack is the same exe file within the bin file. |
