Problem with F.E.A.R.
 

I searched and didnt find the answer so here goes...

I have a legal version of F.E.A.R. (bought it) I just always use no cd cracks because quite frankly putting in the CD each time and having to take it out is too bothersome, especially when I want some music CDs in the tray.

Anyway when I installed F.E.A.R. it was v.1.0.0 and it kept prompting me to install v.1.2. so I do and apply the 1.2 no cd crack but when I start up it gives me "Send Error Report" so I cant actually start it... any ideas?:confused:

Sounds like a bad crack, I cant remember which build FEAR was when i completed it as new (short game) I know I didnt use newest patch as there was no nocd avail at time plus i didnt have issues with i, im sure it was 1.1 and there was new 1.2 patch but as i said at the time there wasnt a nocd for 1.2, so i cant verify if there is a working nocd for 1.2 sorry, just posted so you know someone has read this lol.

temp do you know how I can uninstall v.1.2 then without uninstalling the full game? Or do I have to uninstall everything then reinstall it all again? :(

If you kept a copy of your previous .EXE ie like 1.0 or 1.1, then if you put that back in games DIR it would be back pre patched to before you ran update.

You can't uninstall only patch 1.02. You have to uninstall the whole game, then!

By the way which crack for 1.02 did you try???

hi i really nedd help with worl d of warcraft my game version is Eu and i havnt appleied any patches yet. I really need to change the game version from eu to us i have tryed the tutorial form the past threads but it didnt work Please can sumone giv me a tutrial which is clear and works PLease!!!

OK I sorted the problem. I looked up and had to replace a .dll file and an ARCH00 file. I didn't know this?? :confused:

the .dll file was EngineServer.dll and FEARE_2.arch00, weird I know. I would've looked up these files to begin with.

I just hope this wont effect multiplayer... and I originally got the file from Gamecopyworld

He dont need unistall game, you can revert it to before it was patched by putting old .EXE back in, anyhow seems he is sorted now.

To above peep, What does this FEAR thread have to do with your WOW issue ?
