Alcohol full image
 

I am trying to make a full image of FM2006 on Alcohol. I have read the FAQs but still have a small query, which I would be most grateful if someone could answer for me. I know the image file is about 700MB, but it is taking around 30 minutes to do 2% of the image. Does this sound unusual, or as though I might be doing something wrong? I don't have an ancient PC or a really slow CD drive btw. Thank you very much.

I don't think it is unusual. As far as I remember, the "how to make a mini-image?" thread on the CDFreaks site explicitly mentions that, yes, you will run into unreadable, damaged sectors. But that is simply part of the copy protection! ;)
