i download files but it doesnt work
 

i downloaded The Matrix: Path Of Neo v1.0 [MULTI] No-DVD/Fixed EXE then i click on matrix3w32s.exe to install but it says application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found reinstall aplication might fix the problem does anyone knwo what is wrong?

You need to reinstall DirectX9.0c. Just start dxsetup.exe from your Matrix-PathOfNeo-DVD/CD.

You can rename the cracked file "matrix3w32s.exe" to "matrix3w32s.bin".
In this way you can use the original matrix3.exe to start the game.

or better yet, download the newest dx9.0c redistributable (dec 2005) from the microsoft homepage and install it. it has all the updated d3dx9 DLLs, including 27.

You dont just run the exe from anywhere buddy, it has to be in the same folder as your matrix3.exe file.

I'm having issues with latest files I got from here as well.
With Matrix:Path of Neo one,I just get to see a screen with green numbers(like the Matrix Code) for a couple seconds,then screen flickers and it crashes to desktop.Tried renaming the matrix3w32s.exe to matrix2w32s.bin,and didnt worked either,just that screen for a couple seconds and then crashed.I made a bit of googleing tho and seems that game haves a ton of bugs and a lot of people have that same problem.
Evil Dead:Regeneration didn't worked for me either;in this case the .exe file just gives and error and it shuts down as soon as I double click it.
Didnt knew there was a new DX9 file,so im gonna install it,but I think that won't solve my proble since I didnt get any .dll error or such;I think it could be related with installing the games from virtual drives,but can't say either since I never had this kind of problems before doing so.Also all files I got here used to work like a charm,so I really don't have a clue on what could be the problem really.:confused:

Install the game using the original discs (Not from a virtual drive) then play the game using the cracks so you dont need to use the actual disc to play!

Yeah,thats what I think it might cause the problem,gonna give it a try doing that,but first I guess I'm gonna get that new Dx9 installed and check if new drivers are out,that might help as well ^^


edit:as weird as it may sound,i managed to make work Path of Neo by setting .exe file on win98/ME compatibility with the same image I used before.No need to back up the game again;will check out later if ED:Regeneration works that way as well :P
