360 instock?
 

Went to GAME this afternoon to see when 360 will be in stock?
Block from shop said "Hade a delivery this morning" BUT all sold OUT

What a bummer 2 late again?

Look on the bright side stocks getting replenished fast.

yah, most places near me have a weekly stock of em now (but small). They are usually sold quickly, but I too am glad that this whole shortage issue is starting to blow over.

Made phone call 2day and was told thay hade 1 left?
I ask "can u reserve it for me" WOMAN on phone says NO?

Ok, so i jump in mi car, brake every speed limit, parkup, run all the way across Leeds, get to shop, tell WOMAN i have come for the 360 Premium, she directs me to the shelf and ask's which bundel i would like,
1 System + 4 games £460.00
2 System + 6 games £550.00
or
3 System + 8 Games £640.00

What a f***er only drought £330.00

Why the hell dident the WOMAN tell me on the phone about the bundles?

And as for 8 games? there wasent 8 diffrent games on the shelf.

Whent back with more money and ges what?

I know what you mean. A lot of people were screwed over here at launch. People went to specific Bestbuys looking to buy a system for 400 USD, only to find out that the Bestbuy's would only sell them in bundles. People who didn't want to spend the 700-800 on them (and left), whom waited over night in line for a launch spot, were very pissed.

The headquarters ordered the Bestbuys that screwed the consumers to accept any returns of x360 items that were force bundled, then apologized to those who waited and couldn't get one because of it.

I'm sorry that you were a victim of crappy business services.

If the WOMAN on the phone ad said bundels only i woudent have wasted my time?

Is it really THAT hard to get the Box in the USA???

The sale at my local shop (in Germany) was like this:
I came in. Waited in line. Got my Premium XBox Pack an a FREE W-Controller.
That´s about it. Okay after 45min. there was not one XBox left but who cares... got mine.

And for the bundles. There is not one shop here that is selling the Box in any kind of bundle. You can get the Core or the Premium Version... thats it.

Guess German marketing is not as sucky as it is the USA. No offense!

i had the same problem when i tried first time to get one from game up here near durham. i called game and asked if they had any systemd left, they said they had 4 systems but would only sell with the 8 game bundle for £680 no exceptions. so i waited a extra week and luckily managed to be im pc world as a new ship-ment came in.

honestley the 360's are rarer than rockie horse sh==e here in the uk.

tell me about it mate at work ordered his 3 months before 2-12-05 and it still aint arrived from our local store i was lucky didnt order 1 but was looking on game web site to order some games for kids xmas prezzies and there some core bundles there for £399 (4 games and a memory card) limited stock couldnt resist it pressed buy now and had it delivered 48 hrs later even struck lucky with a hard drive £60 from amazon of all places best £399 i;ve spent :D

Me, personally I don't have one not that I can't get it rather not really hard up for it at the time due to lack of games..:cool:

got to get 1 just for c.o.d. its a great game btw dont bother with condemned its to dark might just as well play it on a black and white tv lol. traded my copy in for quake 4. game took the mick a bit doing that as well rang up and they quoted me £35 went in to the shop and they offered me £20 (for a game thats less than 1 month from release) told them to forget it went to gamestation got £35 against a preowned quake for £40

You gave your copy of Condemned away for Quake IV?
Quake IV has so many graphic-glitches and slowdown´s... its almost the worst launch title for the 360!

Condemned is too short indeed. But I think its a great game with much violence, no bugs, a good story line, thrilling action... and a lot of heart attacks! :D

Complete the Game.
You WILL notice partically very bad graphics, glitches, slow-down on some spots. I won´t even start comparing it to the PC Version wich was VERY GOOD!

But maybe its an issue with the German version of Quake IV?!?
Don´t know.
