Sims Complete Collection

Happy holidays everyone! First post here... I bought my three kids "Sims Complete Collection" for Christmas. The
"The Sims: Complete [MULTI] No-CD/Fixed Image" does not seem to work. My kids will trash cd #1 unless I can start the game with a backup copy or a virtual image copy or whatever. I used Alcohol 120% to mount the image. I am supposed to start the game in the vitual image by clicking on the start.exe icon right? The black dos screen shows up for a second and disappears. Am I doing this right? Any advice would be great. Regards Rick

Thank you for the reply Joe. I am having trouble finding the FAQ on how to make a mini image work. Can you direct me to the right spot? Best regards Rick

I confirm even using the properly method to create a mini image from original disk is not work here. Any solution?

@musicis: See entry V/2. (at the current numbering) on how to use images. (Hmmm, maybe, the wording of the entry title is confusing?)

I know how to use the mini image, as I am an over 20 years experienced user.

After it was failed to use the on web mini image, and even the copy I made; I use 120% to create an whole disk image with SecureDisk v2 profile, this one works. I think it may be the mini images include too few tracks which not sufficient to fool the game.
