Fahrenheit Crack working for EU too?
 

Hi,
as seen now there was a crack for Indigo Prophecy released by the known release group RELOADED. I.P. is the official US name for the game (i think)

does someone know if it also works with the european version of this game, called FAHRENHEIT, for example the german one etc....... :D thanks

well the crack doesn't work for me (I got the german version)

the game seems to start, the screen turns black...but then it just stays black, nothing happens.....

the same for me.

Of course it does not work! The US version "only" has SecuROM 7 as copy protection and RELOADED have found a way for cracking this protection.
The EU version of the game (Fahrenheit) has TAGES 5.2.0.1 as copy protection and TAGES is nearly uncrackable, it behaves a bit like StarForce 3, so you don't have to wait for a crack!
The only way of playing the game without DVD is to mount a FULL-IMAGE in an emulation program, like Alcohol120% or DAEMON Tools and to mount the mini-image for version 1.0 or 1.1 (.tdf-file) from GCW in TETRIS (also available @ GCW!)

maybe you have to change something in the registry or whereever so that the whole game is actually US and not only the exe...

you know what I mean?

If it would be same game exe, the protection would be irrelevant like it was with Sponge Bob Film ab! - Silentgate took the unprotected exe from English Version.

Thats true, but I think the coding is different somehow and offsets in some files are different from the US. Im not sure on this.

Does the game use dll's? If so then no, as the dll's will be protected by TAGES. Unless they unpacked the dll's into the exe and fixed the PE header.

I don't know how many files in Fahrenheit are protected by tages but if you search on the farenheit folder there are two files called DrvSetup and DrvSetup_64 that says something about tages I don't know what that files used for but looks like drivers

I tested the GCW method but unfortunetly it doesnt work :(

The game launch and then black screen ... nothing append.

To no dvd you must download tetris 1.1, install de driver and mount mini-image. Then with a full image of your dvd burned or mounted, with the appropiate label, would work. At least worked for me.

As it's said around here, if US version has Securom and EURO has Tages, there is nothing to do w the exe: it simply can't work.
