VB6 and serial port
Hi! I have to use the serial port of the PC to send commands to a digital multimeter using Visual Basic 6. Unfortunately, I've only WIn XP on my PC, and some people told me that I must install some dll libraries or something similar to access the serial port under Win XP. I'm not very familiar with VB6 'cause I started using it one month ago.
Do you know if I can find this libraries on the Internet and how using them? Thnaks, and merry Xmas! :) |
think you can use createfilea/writefile/readfile interface.. check msdn would be my advice, or disassemble hyperterminal etc to see how it does it
