X3 Need Mini- or Maxi image (for US VERSION)
Hey all,
I need any working image you have (mini or maxi) for X3 because the only way that is on gamecopyworld is the UK version. Does anyone have one or know where to get an image? Also did anyone get their backup of X3 to run on a windows XP SP1 machine? ________ Waterbongs |
Does your original X3 work on SP1? If so then an image will work. Since you have the original, if you follow the guides here at the forum it will show you how to make a full or mini-image.

Yes the original works with SP1... so thats why I think an image will work. But I would like an image for the US version (I don't want to make my own... mini-images are provided for most all games... so why not X3?).

If you have the original disc then create your own mini image. I know if I had the game I would rather create my own mini image instead of waiting for someone else to do it. |
You can wait a long time for an mini-image to appear, cause these don't work with Starforce 3.6 anymore, this was a bug that was fixed by the starforce-team.
Maybe some of these mini-maxi Image things will appear and work with Starforce? |
IF YOU HAVE OWNS THE ORIGINAL US version of the game...:
Go to http://copybase.ch/Cb/PHPV2/Database...SearchSoftware and Download the correct DPM file. Make an Image from CD#6 with latest Alcohol and CHANGE the .MDS file for the Downloaded one (You can use Max. Speed to read ofcourse and SET StarForce) OFF your PC and OFF the POWER CHORD from your CD/DVD drive. Boot PC. Start Mounting created/.MDS file corrected ImageFile with DaemonTools 4. Set EMULATION -> ALL OPTIONS ON (RMPS ON sure!) Get SFNightmare v1.12, run and click on DISABLE CD. Play the game (the game is KEYLESS so simple start). You can install the LATEST Update v1.3 and works with 'em. NOW you can put BACK YOUR Original Media to the Box (for a while...?) |
