Battlefront 2 No CD Fix?
 

Hi (first time poster, Long time GCW visitor and Downloader!)

I was wondering if there will be a "No CD fix" for SWB2? I woulden't even assume that the "No DVD" posts at your site would even work At ALL...(But strangely enough that is all that is availible for download at your site) Surley it must be known that there is a 4 CD installation set availible in the US for Battlefront 2 in the USA. Or is it just not possible with this game? I love the fixed EXEs you guys post its like the mid 90's again when you could install games like the original "Duke Nukem" or "Doom" under DOS in win 95. Jeeze it was great! You installed it and then put the CD in safe keeping and just hit the icon with the old "PIF command" and the game ran! I really thank you guys for bringing that convience back! THANK YOU!
Games are "expensive" and I have 3 computers in 1 house and two older but "careless" adult kids in the house, and love them I do...but if they took my game CDs everytime they may want to check out a game I'd soon be looking for damaged replacements! And then I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT until the whole replacement process VIA MAIL was complete! And in some cases it costs you and some companies don't replace anything. So again Thanks!

But will there be a Battlefront 2 "No CD FIX" sometime in the future?

No, use the maxi image. If you don't know what I am talking about, use the search button.

YES! IT WORKED! Just download the maxi image, mount in Alcohol 120% and use BLeH. Then this where I must of gone wrong, but now it works, dont use the desktop icon. Go to program files and use the exe in the GameData folder, and you should be playing SWBF2 in no time!
