ASPack protection
 
Hi.I need help.I have a cd and I believe is protect with ASPack if I scan with
Protection_ID (ASPack v212). Have file compresed because after instal when I want to start the program ask for cd and apear a progress bar.In instructions say to start the aplications is need to insert cd for a short time.
Have somebody a ideea for remove such protections.

ASPack is an EXE compression algorithm, not a protection scheme. Most likely, the game's EXE has been compressed AFTER it has been protected. Therefore, you need to uncompress the EXE first and then scan it for a protection. If you see a progress bar as you say, the game is probably protected with Starforce (I think it's the only protection that shows a progress bar).

Thanks for your interest.It is a dictionary and I need it verry much.The first editions at this dictionary it was also protect (I IIegal Toc) but with Perfect Copy 2000 SRIII+Clone cd I made with success a copy.This edition is more strainge for me.I try to make a copy with Alcohol (last version) without success.I try with Clone Cd last edition and it's
work now.The protect mode is Oversized/Overburn.Have a file hiden on cd
with size 1.99G.

Yes of course I bought the original with licences.I want to make a copy to protect my investment if something goes wrong with original cd.Just for that.
