1) Copy the files from CD1 to any folder.

2) Copy the files from CD2-CD4 to the folder you put CD1 in without overwriting any files.

3) Open common_filelist.txt and change:

2,1
3,1
4,1

to:

1,1
1,1
1,1

4) Overwrite speed.exe on the root of the DVD with the crack (when you can find one, haven't been able to find one yet) or add a mini-image (If you know how to make one or can find one).

5) Burn or mount the image.

To stop the Registration popup appearing during the install, open the 'AutoRun' folder and edit the 'autorun.cfg' file and set EReg=0.

If you want to integrate the v1.3 patch and the Volkswagen/JAP crack and don't mind complex instructions, read on!

1. Install the game and apply the v1.3 patch.
2. Extract the 2compressed.zip archive from CD3 to a temp folder.
3. Locate the installed game and copy the Frontend\FrontB.lzc file to the Frontend folder where you uncompressed the 2compressed.zip archive and overwrite the existing file.
4. Now ZIP the folders/files in the temp folder with WinZip or any other ZIP program but do not compress the folder itself, just the contents inside. Create a new archive called 2compressed.zip. Make sure you store relative path names for the files.
5. Extract the 3compressed.zip archive from CD4 to another temp folder.
6. Locate the installed game and copy these files from the GLOBAL folder to the GLOBAL folder where you uncompressed the 3compressed.zip file:

gameplay.bin
gameplay.lzc
InGameB.bun
InGameB.lzc

and overwrite the existing files!!

7. ZIP the folders/files in the temp folder where you uncompressed the 3compressed.zip archive like in step 4, but create a new archive called 3compressed.zip.

Now follow Grumpys guide to make the DVD but do the following extra steps:

1. Copy the VW Crack (or the JAP crack) to the same folder you extracted all 4 CD's but first rename the original speed.exe in the folder to speed.bak (or whatever you want) just in case you need it! You may have to rename the JAP crack from nfsMW.exe to speed.exe first and possibly set compatability mode to Win2000 when installed!!
2. Copy the server.dll file from the v1.3 patched install of the game to the folder you extracted the 4 CD's, overwrite the existing file.
3. Copy the newly created 2compressed.zip and 3compressed.zip archives to the same folder you extracted the 4 CD's, overwrite the existing archives.
4. Edit the AutoRun\autorun.cfg file in the folder you extracted the 4 CD's and set Version=1.3
5. Do the Ereg=0 hack if needed.

Now Burn to a re-writeable DVD and test the install, if it works OK burn to a DVD-R/+R.

If you follwed all that without problems then blow the froth of a few coldies and relax :D

when i do this conversion autorun.exe doesn't work anymore :( i tried several ways, but still not working. when i try to run it, in task manager appears and quickly disappears process autorun. in my hdd works without problem :confused:

I just followed the conversion and mine autoplays. I was sure to label the disc NFSMW_DISC1. I noticed the above conversion didn't specify the label but this one works.

Mine is labelled NFSMW_DVD and it also autoplays. ;)

This crack worked fine for me:

Thanks alex, the cracks have had some major discussion lately on cd-2-dvd.com as well. ;)
I keep getting told to change the conversion to add the crack. :D ;)

i used this conversion with the Black Edition labelled mine as NFSMWBE Autoplay works fine sorry forgot to say thanks to VanTokkern :)

my CD3 had some green spots on the surface top side, so I decided to do this DVD conversion. It worked great. :cool:
