Post Date: 12-01-2005 *Make a directory on your harddrive and copy all the files from cd 1 (Install Disc) to it *On cd2 (Play Disc) only copy across d2char.mpq and d2music.mpq to the root of the directory you previously created *On cd3 (Cinematics Disc) only copy across d2video.mpq to the root of the directory you previously created *Copy across the patch and nocd crack *Burn (I gave the dvd any label and it worked), patch, crack and play ** I could only find a fixed exe for the latest patch 1.10, so you still need the dvd in the drive to play, but it works fine** |

Post Date: 12-01-2005 There is a way around it. You need to copy the file: d2music.mpq from the cd/dvd to the root folder of where you installed D2. There are several nocd patches out there to all the released versions. I have tested this and it works! You can also consider putting everything in 1 DVD all the diablo games: diablo, hellfire, diablo2, D2:LOD. |
