decrypter how do you create this dvd mds file
i have a 6gb dvds (vobs) file covering my children growing up - used pinnacle studio and tmpegenc dvd auhor
i dont want to split it over 2 dvds - in itslf at this size it is a canny little movie.
reading th forums - or am i wrong - it is best for dual layr to get this in dvd iso form - i assume to get over the 2 layer swtch point

i had tried nero but glitched at layer change over using the basic 6gb files = coastr
is there someway in nero you can make dvd friendly iso
i've read the manual = useless

or do i invest in proggy like magiciso to form user friendly dvd iso first

where am i going rong - any ideas

Pinacle is a powerful program that gives everything you need for dvd authoring.

Perhaps you have an older system that doesnt recognise Dual Layer capabilities, upgrade your pinacle with a newer version.

Tried several ways managed to write dual layer dvd BUT on playbback they lockout at the layer switch point. I can skip this point with next chapter search but obviously that is not acceptable - could it be a media problem method as follows

1 dvd author to mak film base (menus)

1 dvdshrink to make iso of dvd film files from the audio_ts and video_ts folders

2 used dvddecrypter to write the iso file

After you have a Video_TS folder from authoring, use Nero Burning Rom to burn straight to disc (use DVD Video option).

Will save you a bit of time, and DVDDecryptor isnt great for burning imho.

DVDdecryptor is no longer updated by the author and it can't handle newer protections. DVDfab decryptor is free and regularly updated. Also you might want to consider Anydvd which runs in the background (start it before inserting original dvd).:)

Its nothing to do with protected vob's, hes making his own dvd's of family vids.

He is having problems burning to DL discs.
